Islamic art is often characterized by its use of geometric patterns and reliance on calligraphy. It is a broad term that covers a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, architecture, ceramics, and textile arts. Islamic art is often inspired by the Quran, and it often includes elements of nature. While Islamic art can be found across the globe, it is especially prolific in countries with a large Muslim population, such as Iran, Turkey, and Morocco.

Some of the most famous examples of Islamic art include the Taj Mahal in India and the Alhambra in Spain. The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum built in memory of Emperor Shah Jahan’s wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
